😇 Why Does This System Exist?
Every year Mandy's 1-1 tutoring calendar is completely booked, she has a deep passion for helping maths students. Privately she was only able to help up to 31 students per year. This system was created to allow more students to be able to access the correct level of support that they require to secure an A or A* in A-Level Maths.
School teaching alone is not enough to get an A or A*. Students are not taught exam technique & Tutors are unable to provide a clear pathway or support system to get them an A/A*.

Mandy holds a first class honours degree in Mathematics & Statistics & a Masters degree in Actuarial Science.

Yes, we have seen lots of students jump 3 grades in our years of teaching maths. It is common to see a major improvement in the first 3 months of joining our programme. The difference between a C and an A for some students can be as as simple as perfecting their exam technique or knowing how to correctly apply their knowledge to exam questions.

🤐 How Much Work For An A/A*?
You'll need to attend all live weekly sessions (or watch the recordings) from now until your exams, in addition to this, you'll need to be putting in the time to self study.
But don't worry we'll provide a structured support plan and monthly 1-1 reviews to ensure you're working to an A or A* standard. We want your child to perform to the best of their abilities.
😒 Why Is This Better Than 1-1 Tutoring?
It is 2025 and 1-1 tutoring is now unfortunately outdated. The Ascension System works better than 1-1 tutoring because it gives your child structure, accountability, and exam board specific training that private tutors simply can't provide. Students in our system are not relying on one person’s memory or teaching style, instead they get a full system designed for A/A*, with live sessions, resources, timing drills and 24/7 support. Most importantly, students can go back and re-watch sessions providing them with a solid foundational base.
A 1-1 tutor can't sit their exam for them. We teach students to be independent. No, unfortunately not everybody who applies will be able to join our programme, it's reserved for motivated individuals. We want all of our students to perform at their best, therefore we will only accept those who express a desire to be on the programme.

😉 Can I Measure My Performance?
Yes, the platform has a powerful monitoring system built in, we can see if you're doing the work or not and how long you've been spending on our platform. Plus you get monthly 1-1 reviews. Every student’s progress is tracked so you always know exactly where you stand and what to improve next.
Parents can request an update on their child's progress at any time and we are more than happy to provide it.
🤗 Is It Easy To Manage With School?
Yes, the system is designed to fit around school, not add stress. With short, targeted lessons and a clear week-by-week structure, students can slot it into their routine easily and stay ahead without feeling overloaded.
4-6 Hours per week of study in total will be advised when using our system. For an inefficient self-studier, it would be taking them around 8-12 hours in targeted revision to achieve the same results
😶🌫️ What If I Miss A Lesson?
That's not a problem, every session is recorded so you're about to catch up.

😲 Will My Child Be Able To Ask Questions?
Yes, they can ask questions anytime. They get 24/7 support inside the platform and via WhatsApp, plus weekly live sessions where they can get immediate help and full explanations.
Mandy has a vast range of experience teaching different types of students, she will ensure that every student on each call is actively engaging, if there are any special requests (eg. to keep their camera on or to stop them from switching off) We also note these for each student to ensure we keep them working at their best.
😃 How Long Is My Access Valid?
We will give you access until your results come out in August.
For Year 12 - Subscription is minimum 1 Year.
For Year 13 - Subsidised for the remaining months until your June Exam.
